Association “Ar pasaules pieredzi Latvijā” launches new project “Our Stories: The Global South,” implemented within the Latvian Platform for Development Cooperation (LAPAS) initiative “LAPAS savieno.”

We want to share our accumulated international experience to strengthen Latvian young people’s critical understanding of global challenges and to encourage them to launch new initiatives.

From October 2025 to April 2026, five storytelling evenings and two masterclasses are planned. At each storytelling evening, people from our network will share first-hand experience of living in a country of the Global South, followed by a discussion with an invited expert on a specific challenge faced by people in that country.

To foster active youth participation, participants will receive Action Kits after each event with practical steps for further engagement. In addition, we will organise two masterclasses to develop the skills needed to engage meaningfully in global initiatives.
