This season has been full of adventure, exploring six different countries. This year’s season opened with Selma Lavrence taking us to Israel, giving us a glimpse into the atmosphere and learning more about the local culture.
Next, we travelled to faraway Japan, where Jānis Vētra shared his unforgettable experiences – from medical training in a local hospital to the challenges of earthquakes and even secret nightlife havens.
At the beginning of the summer, we travelled to the other side of the world – Canada – where Indra Freiberga shared experiences that changed the way she saw the world, including moving to Latvia when her mother became President of Latvia.
After a summer break, our adventures continued with China. Dāvis Dreiska‘s story took us through ten years of adventures – living in Shanghai, studying the world of cinema in Beijing and behind the scenes that opened the door to the making of The Great Wall of China.
In the spirit of the National Day, we were honoured by Hossam Abu Meri, who shared his memories of the Lebanese Civil War, giving us a deep insight into the complex political and ethnic situation. It was a story that made us reflect on world events and the power of humanity.
And soon, on the 6th of December, you can listen to the latest episode on Mexico!
