Association \u201cAr pasaules pieredzi Latvij\u0101\u201d launches new project \u201cOur Stories: The Global South,\u201d implemented within the Latvian Platform for Development Cooperation (LAPAS) initiative \u201cLAPAS savieno.\u201d<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n
We want to share our accumulated international experience to strengthen Latvian young people\u2019s critical understanding of global challenges and to encourage them to launch new initiatives.<\/p>\n
From October 2025 to April 2026, five storytelling evenings and two masterclasses are planned. At each storytelling evening, people from our network will share first-hand experience of living in a country of the Global South, followed by a discussion with an invited expert on a specific challenge faced by people in that country.<\/p>\n
To foster active youth participation, participants will receive Action Kits<\/b><\/span> after each event with practical steps for further engagement. In addition, we will organise two masterclasses to develop the skills needed to engage meaningfully in global initiatives.<\/p>\n More information about project activities and how to get involved will be published on the social media channels of the association \u201cAr pasaules pieredzi Latvij\u0101.\u201d<\/b><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n This activity is co-financed with the support of the European Union.
